Labview Suckiness

So it seems that i bought 8.2 right around the time 8.5 was coming out, and it further seems that 8.2 isn’t supported on Leopard, and seeing as how installation fails for me on 8.5 (claiming that the media is damaged, whereas it’s in pristine shape), and since for the student edition of the software the only upgrade path is to shell out the clams for the whole new version, it seems i’m not going to be persuing Labview with Arduino any longer.

i bought about 2 weeks too early to get the version i apparently now need. some vendors give free upgrades if you buy within a few months of a new version. apparently not NI. *^&*^&*#$.

Update Jan 7 2008: just found this which claims 8.2 is supported on Leopard, contradicting what I was told by their rep. Still nothing on getting it to install though.
